In the region, in the year 569 AH / 1173 AD, then the Rasulids took control of it after them, the sultans of the Tahirid state, and in the first Ottoman conquest of Yemen, Uwais Pasha seized the city of Taiz and the forts around it, including Jabal Sabr. Today, Sabr Mountain is divided into three districts: Sabr Al-Mawadim District, Al-Misrakh District, and Mashra`a Wahadnan District. Each district includes a number of villages with scenic landscapes that please the beholder.
